How long does it take to get PageRank?

I'm just wondering, how long does it take to get PageRank and how can we get a higher PageRank?

the quickest way is get pagerank is to submit your website to high PR site. Homepage is the best. eg. http://www.linkanchor.com/
There are over 200 bid directory online, that you can get their service.

Second is to write articles and submit to article sites. Good for long term.

Pagerank updates every 3 months or so. The last update was unusual in that it took 6 months for many sites to see changes. Keep building relevant inbound links and you should see your pagerank go up.

3 months seems to be an often quoted figure but I've had sites obtain PR after 2 months or less.

Usually Google chenges and updates your rankings, which I believe is called "Google dance" every 3 months starting on the first month of the year.

But I guess since there are a lot of sites nowadays, you jsut have to estimate a bit. You'll know when google dances cause it's going to be a hot topic in a lot of peoples blogs.

But it doesn't guarantee that you'll get a PR... it's all up to how you work your way around google.

like the age of the omain and the linkinpages.
the imporatance of linking pages..
