Stopping The Bots ?

Too many bots are spoiling this little gem of a forum.

I'm sad to see ti happen, but it's not so hard to fix.

The way I see it there are a few options.
1) ban the ip range they belong to
2) ban the bots
3) add in captcha and email auth and block out dubious email registrations...

ya, there are few spammers had been identified.
And pass 3 days i am working on cleaning the forum too. supprised seeing lots of spam content in short while.

The forum is mean for user convenient. Even a first time user can come here to ask for help or make posting. the aim is to make it simple.
